PRESIDENT OF INDIA TO VISIT TAMIL NADU AND ANDHRA PRADESH FROM JULY 12 TO 15

The President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, will visit Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh from July 12 to 15, 2019.

On July 13, 2019, the President will present L.L.D. (Honoris Causa) degrees to Shri Justice (Retd) P. Sathasivam, former Chief Justice of India, and currently Governor of Kerala; Shri Justice Sharad Arvind Bobde, Judge of the Supreme Court of India; and Smt Justice Vijaya Kamlesh Tahilramani, Chief Justice of the Madras High Court, at a special convocation of the Tamil Nadu Dr Ambedkar Law University in Chennai.

On July 14-15, 2019, the President will visit the Satish Dhawan Space Centre, SHAR, Sriharikota and witness the launch of Chandrayaan-2 lunar mission being undertaken by the Indian Space Research Organisation.
