PRESIDENT OF INDIA ADDRESSES THE SHIROMANI KABIR PRAKAT DIWAS CELEBRATIONS IN FATEHABAD

The President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, graced and addressed the Shiromani Kabir Prakat Diwas (Kabir Jayanti) in Fatehabad, Haryana today (July 15, 2018). This function was organised by the Dhanak Sabha Fatehabad and the Sant Kabir Dhanak Samaj Karamchari Welfare Association, Haryana.

Speaking on the occasion, the President said that Sant Kabir was a great social reformer. He showed us the path of equality and harmony. His teachings are as relevant today as in his time. The President was happy to note that the Shiromani Kabir Prakat Diwas is being observed in every district of Haryana to make people aware of Sant Kabir’s teachings.

The President said that Monsoon Sessions of Parliament and State Assemblies are going to commence soon. He expressed confidence that legislators will carry forward their work for the public through debate and dialogue.
