EXTRACTION OF HONEY FORMALLY BEGINS AT PRESIDENT’S ESTATE APIARY

The Secretary to the President, Shri Sanjay Kothari, visited the Apiary in the President’s Estate today (March 23, 2018) and witnessed the inaugural extraction of honey from honey boxes. Among those present was Shri V.K. Saxena, Chairman, Khadi & Village Industries Commission (KVIC).

The Apiary was opened with the help of KVIC, on August 19, 2017, World Honey Bee Day. The President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, had graced the opening of the Apiary.
